Activate Macy’s Credit Card | Activation Gift Card

You can activate your Macy’s Credit Card online or by phone. The online method is usually the fastest and easiest.

Activate Online at Macys.com (Recommended)

Step 1

Go to macys.com/wallet.

Step 2

Click the black “Activate Card” button.

Step 3

Sign in to your Macy’s account.
If you do not have an account yet, create one first.

Step 4

On the Credit Card Verification page, enter your card information as requested.

After you submit your information, your card activates immediately and you can start using it.

Add Your Macy’s Credit Card to the Macy’s App Wallet

After you activate your card, you can add it to the Macy’s app for faster checkout and rewards tracking.

Step 1: Download and Open the App

Install the Macy’s app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
Open the app and sign in to your Macy’s account.

Step 2: Go to Your Wallet

Tap the Account icon in the bottom right corner.
Select Wallet from the menu.

If you are a Macy’s Credit Cardholder, you can turn on Macy’s Pay in the app.
After you verify your card, the app creates a secure barcode that you can scan in-store. You do not need to carry your physical card.

Set as Default Payment

You can set your Macy’s Card as your default payment method.
This helps you check out faster and track your Star Rewards points more easily.
